A0 – Absolute Beginner

You’re a blank canvas, ready to start from zero and learn to say your first real French sentences without resorting to “Can I have a menu in English please”.

At this stage, your focus is on the very basics either for the first time ever or to refresh the French you may have forgotten since school.

A1 – Beginner

Perfect if you’ve always wanted to speak, not just study, French.

In no time, you’ll be able to share about yourself, ask and answer simple questions, and hold short everyday conversations where people actually understand you.

Well done on learning the basics, now you’ll start forming simple sentences and engaging naturally in basic conversations.

A2 – Upper Beginner

You can now share about your life in more details, discuss your plans and past experiences in short exchanges with confidence.

At this level, you’ll work on expanding your vocabulary get more comfortable using past and future tenses, and learn how to ask and answer questions in familiar contexts for longer exchanges.

B1 & B2 – Intermediate

Across these two levels, you can follow and join deeper conversations, express your ideas and feelings clearly and with nuance, and sound more natural and confident in French interactions.

Our focus is on enhancing your French speaking fluency and spontaneity. Now your French conversations become like second nature with less hesitation and you sound more ‘like you’.

C1 & C2 – Advanced / Proficient

Well done! Now you can speak French with precision, persuasion, and personality. Understanding fast, idiomatic French and responding with ease across a range of social and professional contexts will come with ease.

At this stage, we will focus on refining your tone, rhythm, and cultural nuance, so you can communicate with sophistication, confidence and humour in your own authentic French voice.
